The Red Event is an inspiring annual gathering created by Hello Gorgeous! for women who have ever heard the words, “You have cancer.” Held on February 20th, 2027 at the Four Winds Casino Event Center, this women’s only day is designed to Restore, Empower & Dazzle — blending meaningful education, connection, and celebration in a supportive and uplifting environment.
Attendees can expect a dynamic program featuring empowering speakers, impactful breakout sessions, uplifting survivor stories, and practical guidance on self-care, wellness, and finding a new normal. A fun and upbeat fashion show, continental breakfast, and lunch are included as part of the experience.
More than just an event, The Red Event is a space for community, encouragement, and hope — where women connect with others who truly understand the journey, gain tools to thrive, and feel celebrated for their strength and resilience. All proceeds support Hello Gorgeous! and its mission to restore beauty, confidence, and joy to women navigating life with cancer.

Melanie Bizoe
We are excited that Melanie is returning as our Master of Ceremonies for the 2026 RED Event.
Melanie has been married to Steve for more than 34 years. ( He has been her biggest supporter and cheerleader especially during her journey through breast cancer.) She has 3 amazing children and now is blessed to be a grandma. Her passion is to make sure you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are loved exactly how you are and to share her story to encourage others. "I am so honored and excited to be returning as your MC for The RED Event. Join us and feel inspired to take on the world.
“As a breast cancer survivor of 18 years it is my passion to help others who find themselves on a similar journey. My goal is to empower, encourage and help them see they are not alone in the fight. This is exactly what the Hello Gorgeous RED event does! It is my honor to return as the host. I invite you to join us for a day of inspiration, laughter, and friendship. You will walk away feeling energized, ready to take on whatever the days ahead might bring”

I refashion t-shirts, flannels, sweatshirts, jackets and whatever else I may find fun! I am blinging, bleaching, ripping, sewing and whatever else comes to mind with each item. I try very hard to make most everything One Of A Kind! I do recreate some designs or come up with my own. I do not silk-screen t-shirts. I use authentic t-shirts and make them into something unique and special! I think we should all have fun with fashion, and nothing ever needs to go out of style! I hope my Trashy T'z make people feel unique and unleash that inner Rockstar that we all have inside us!!
