I was a hairdresser for more than 30 years. There were many times that a salon guest would confide in me about her cancer diagnosis, before telling her family about her cancer.
Hair was a big concern for my salon guests and what would happen to it during treatment.
I am glad that they trusted me to guide them through that process.
